This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the current school year comes to a close, I’m already planning ahead to make sure next year’s class is set up for success.
To give my future first graders the best possible start, I’m requesting essential supplies that will help our classroom run smoothly from day one.
The scissors will be used for fine motor skill development and art projects. The crayons will help with creativity and expression. The pencils are for writing, drawing, and learning. The storage containers will keep materials organized and easy to access.
Having these items ready before the school year begins will help create an organized, welcoming space where my students feel prepared and excited to learn.
