My Project

My students are some of the kindest, brightest, and hardest-working teenagers I know. Many of them have been dealt hands that grown adults wouldn't be able to handle, but they make it work day in and day out.

Unfortunately, sometimes things don't always go as planned, and they come to school hungry, thirsty, tired, or a combination of all of the above, and need some extra support.

Your donation to stocking my care closet ensures that my kids get the things they need to start their school day and finish their day, week, and year out strong.

The shampoo and conditioners will go into body care bags to take home. The snack will be utilized in situations where students haven't eaten breakfast or need a little more energy to make it through the day. Kids are constantly in need of a hairbrush or hair items to make them feel confident in the school hallways and interact with their peers.

This care closet is so much more than just physical wellness but it's mental wellness too. High school can be one of the toughest places on the plane, why should physical things get in the way of simply making it through their day?
