My students are an eager bunch of first graders who come ready to soak up as much knowledge as they possibly can. As a teacher in the School District of Philadelphia, much of the supplies acquired is hand-me-down or teacher provided. My students are very smart and creative and most importantly they love learning! I don't want them to worry about their materials running out or constantly breaking.
Supporting my classroom will keep the momentum.
I am hoping to inspire them every day to pursue academic excellence and nurture their passion for learning!
My Project
The materials in this project will sustain the classroom (fingers crossed!) for the remainder of the year. While some supplies came in at the beginning of the year, unfortunately I had to dip into our reserves.
These materials will be used daily for instruction and class assignments.
As student tasks become more rigorous, they will utilize more materials to demonstrate their awesome academic and creative skills. The back-to-school sales are over and I need your help to stock the classroom and our new seat sacks (thank you donors!) so we are ready to go for the rest of the year!
