My Project

Imagine walking into a classroom where every child has what they need to learn, create, and grow—without worry. That’s the dream I have for my students.

I teach an amazing group of first graders at a rural school filled with big hearts and tight budgets.

Many of my students come from low-income households where school supplies are a luxury. Yet, these kids show up every day full of wonder, grit, and so much potential.

This project will provide basic yet essential supplies like pencils, crayons, glue sticks, dry erase markers, folders, scissors, and notebooks. These are the tools my students use daily to learn to write their names, solve math problems, express their creativity, and stay organized. It may not sound flashy, but it’s what fuels our learning every single day.

When a child doesn’t have a pencil, they can’t write their thoughts. When they lack crayons, their creativity gets stifled. These small things make a huge difference.

By supporting this project, you’re not just giving supplies—you’re giving confidence, dignity, and opportunity. You're telling each child, “You matter. You are worth investing in.”

My students are curious, creative, and full of energy. Many come to school hungry for both food and love. In our classroom, we are a family—and families look out for one another. These kids light up when they have the right tools in their hands. They take pride in their work, and I want them to always have what they need to succeed.
