My Project

Each day, my students read for ten minutes at the start of class. The only goal for these ten minutes is to foster a love of reading and to get students hooked on a book so much that they continue to read at home. I cannot wait to introduce them to their next great read.

My goal is to create a life-long love of reading for my students, but a strong selection of books is needed to make that happen.

I hope to introduce all of my students to their favorite books, but each student has different interests.

This project is to update and diversify my classroom library so that all of my students can find a book that grabs their attention. As a second-year teacher, this would put a smile on my face to know my students have access to great books. Thank you for your support of my classroom!
