STMS Hits the Mark in Badminton

My Students

I teach physical education to our entire student body (670 students) grades 6 - 8. Our students are highly motivated to participate in P.E. class and look forward to the opportunity to learn the skills needed to live a healthy and active lifestyle.

I maintain a respect centered environment within my P.E.

class that allows students to feel secure trying new and challenging activities. My lessons are structured in ways that all students achieve some level of personal success while helping them understand that physical activity provides opportunities for enjoyment, challenge, self-expression and social interaction.

My Project

The new rackets will assure that students can participate in the lifetime recreation sport of badminton. Students will learn the basic skills involved in badminton in 6th grade and continue to improve up through 8th grade.

Students of all physical abilities enjoy the opportunity to participate in badminton lessons.

This is an activity that they can play at any age whether in the back yard, a park or recreation center. It is a great family activity for those young and older. Your donation will go a long way in assisting our students and school to be the best they can.
