My Project
According to USA Cheer, 30% of head/face concussions occur in cheerleading activities. By helping our squad purchase concussion helmets, we can work to minimize concussions during class time and allow our squad to practice even more safely than we are capable of doing now.
When we begin to stunt, I want our girls to be the safest they can be.
We circle spot (to have extra spotters) during new skills to ensure safety for our flyers and bases. These helmets would give all stakeholders for our cheerleading program peace of mind when trying new stunts.
