My Students

Keeping students engaged... That is the goal of all teachers. This year our school will be participating in math stations. We need engaging, exciting, and a wide range of math materials.

Recently our kids have endured a horrific natural disaster.

In May a tornado ripped through the heart of our town. Our kids are resilient, so I know they will come back stronger than ever. Over 60% of the students at our school lost everything. I want to provide them with fun and engaging activities that are just right for them. I know with all the great and strong parents, students and teachers we will be strong. My kids are energetic, creative, active, curious and many more adoring characteristics. The students at my school love working in Stations. Stations give students the opportunity to create their own learning. The learning they create is meaningful to them and just right for meeting their personal needs. Stations are all hands on activities that students get to touch, manipulate, and create. Our Kindergarten classes are always full. We routinely run 25-32 kids in our classrooms. With this many students we have to have lots of activities in stations to keep students engaged.

My Project

These math resources will be utilized during math stations. During math stations students will have the opportunity to work in areas of math where they are struggling the most. These materials will provide the students with the opportunity to work on a diverse spectrum of skills along with a diverse spectrum of needs. Some needs may be more intense. Some students just may need a little practice. Not matter what the need is, it will be met with these engaging materials.

I truly believe these materials will a difference in the students’ education.

I truly believe if my students get the opportunity to work with these materials they will be engaged with the excitement and joy of learning. The material listed will not just impact a portion of students, but each and every student no matter what their need is. It is vital every child learns and succeeds. These materials will help!
