This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

New laptops....check. Mouse and mouse pads....check. Headphones and flashdrives....check. A printer durable enough to print completed assignments from 19 wireless laptops....check. Black and color toner that allow us to see what we've printed......

I teach a group of "print happy" fifth graders at a Title 1 school in north Alabama.

They received laptops this year as part of our systems new 1 to 1 digital curriculum. We have gathered all the other resources we need to use these wonderful pieces of technology except, more toner to use with our printer.

My Project

We love our current printer! It is durable, fast, and allows up to print from any spot in our classroom. My students only have to press print from the comfort of their desks, or any other place in our class and they love being able to do that! We need full size black and color toner to keep the printed papers flowing. Since we are working our way to a paper and pencil free classroom, this toner will help students have a colorful hard copy of completed assignments and assessments for parents to review.

These resources are the last components needed to upgrade the technology in our classroom.
