My Students
It’s one thing to help students through a year, but to watch them go on to success beyond school is even better. My students are from the inner city, striving to be the best learners they can be on a daily. My students are creative, thoughtful and curious. They love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box! No matter what task I give them, they take it on full force. I know they are ready for all the learning that will take place this year.
My Project
These tablets will help my students "connect" to me during these hard times. Although we are now forced to teach from afar I want my students to feel still as though they are getting the quality education that they deserved and were promised.
With these tablets I plan to do a Socio-Emotional lesson with my students to help them deal with their anxiety during this time.
The lesson will focus on getting the students to deal with their emotions and being secluded away from their friends and teachers. The tablets will allow the students to be able to see me and their classmate face to face and hopefully put a smile on their face!
