I'm a firm believer in keeping the focus on what's really important: the students. If student motivation and higher engagement is truly the desired end game, then we as teachers must adapt right along with our students in our classrooms.The flexible seating in the classroom will allow my students to choose a learning style that is comfortable to them. From sitting on the floor, bean bags, wobble stools, or the comfy couch, students are able to choose how they want to learn and work, which increases intrinsic motivation and productivity. These flexible seating options also opens the space for increased collaboration among students.
