Sticking With Interactive Notebooks to Improve Student Learning!

My students need tape and glue sticks so that we can put key organizers and images in our interactive science notebooks.

My Students

Each student is unique and learns their own way. They shine when they are doing interesting things and there is always a story to share!

Students at our school are able to learn a trade while completing their education.

This gives students the ability to prepare for life beyond graduation as they work through their academic career.

My students go home and tend to farm animals, play on busy streets, translate for their parents, and live life to the fullest!

My Project

We LOVE our Interactive Notebooks! Last year I started working with interactive science notebooks to give students the opportunity to keep the important information at their fingertips. Students have been able to quickly reference key items that we have gone over.

There is no more flipping through folders or hoping they can find the information in the textbook.

IT IS RIGHT THERE FOR THEM TO FIND!

It is a WONDERFUL feeling to see the students making the connections. Their eyes light up and they feel empowered! Students have gone above and beyond what is expected in order to make their notebooks better. There have been poems about Bones. I have seen cartoons about the digestive tract. Instead of the dreaded question/answer set, the students look forward to applying the information they learned about.
