Sticking to Routines: Tools for a Kinder Classroom
Help me give my students headphones, carpet spot markers, Velcro dots, and magnetic charts to support classroom organization, clear routines, and focused learning.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kindergarten students thrive in a classroom that is organized, structured, and engaging. This project will provide magnetic write-and-wipe charts, Velcro dots, headphones and numbered carpet spot markers to help create a more accessible and student-friendly environment. With these materials, I’ll be able to display daily routines, organize flexible seating, and give each student a personal space on the rug. Students use headphones with their iPads and these are sturdy enough for my kindergarten students. These tools will support smoother transitions, foster independence, and make learning more engaging—especially for my multilingual learners and students who benefit from visual structure.
