Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I am extremely enthusiastic about giving students options to make learning engaging. I hope I can meet the needs of all students since we believe in inclusion for every child. There are some things that I believe would help students' learning, as well as make teaching more organized and fun.
It would be wonderful to provide a learning environment filled with learning in motion to help meet the students' needs.
It is my goal to support diverse learning opportunities among students due to my belief that inclusion benefits all students' development.
My Project
Students will use these stickers, glitter, games and resources across the curriculum to review skills, apply knowledge learned, and rewards.
The games such as chutes and ladders, sorry, guess who and a Jenga-type game will create an environment where students are using teamwork, problem-solving and communication skills all while playing a fun game to review and apply new learning!
Students will use glitter for crafts and and creative art work. Scented stickers are used to encourage students engagement during lessons. The students love having something different to scratch and sniff and even collect. The star stickers will be used during our space unit so that the students can create their own constellations and write a story abou them. The TPT card will help provide more online learning resources for the students learning from home.
I believe these games, stickers and glitter will make a difference in our classroom and students learning from home!
