My Project

My students love using stickers! Providing preschoolers with stickers gives them the opportunity to strengthen their fine motor skills as they peel off each individual sticker to complete art work or an activity.

Fine motor strength is essential in the development of young children as it leads to their ability to hold and maneuver a pencil, cut with scissors, button/zip/snap their clothing, tie their shoes, and various other skills that they will need to have in the future!

In addition, the stickers in this project can be used in other ways, such as sorting by color/size/image, using them to form letters in their names, or even counting.
