Sticker Mania!

My students need more stickers for their "sticker notebooks". As part of my management plan, scholars have the opportunity to collect stickers during the week for a special lunch!

My Students

My scholars attend a Title 1 school located in Columbus, GA. Scholars mostly come from low income/ single income families. Every child in the class and the school receives free lunch.

In my classroom, there are 22 eager scholars that LOVE learning!

They are unique, artistic, and growing more independent each day. My scholars are truly technology motivated, so in my classroom, we incorporate A LOT of music, computers, games, and other interactives that really helps us take our learning to the next level.

My Project

In my classroom, I use "sticker notebooks" to promote positive behavior/ to curve negative behavior. Each Monday, the scholars receive a sticker goal that they are aiming to reach by Friday. The goal is usually 10 stickers before we go to lunch on Fridays.

If scholars have met their goal of 10 stickers on Friday before lunch, they are rewarded with a special lunch with the teacher and a special treat!

The scholars respond really well to the system, and we have even been able to link learning to our stickers. I can walk by and here scholars say "I have 3 stickers! I only need 7 more before I get to 10!"
