Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Stickers will allow me to create themed units and incentivize students when they complete assignments. Incentivizing completed assignments with stickers keeps students motivated in their learning and highly engaged. What may seem like a simple sticker creates joy and excitement in the classroom.

Currently, my students are highly motivated in class by working on themed grids and receiving stickers for assignments.

Grids allow students to work at their own pace, or at a class pace. This allows them to be highly engaged and motivated in their own learning. As students complete assignments on their grids, they receive a sticker related to the theme. The themes in class relate to real world connections or student interests. My goal is to have enough stickers for every student to receive one as they complete their assignments.
