This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Each day the 19 girls in my class, come in and really make learning happen.
My students are a wide variety of young learners.
Some are on level, and doing fabulous, some are struggling and not quite on level yet. Others are English Speakers of other primary Languages, and some have learning disabilities that makes learning a little harder for them. However, the majority of them are on free/reduced lunch and because of this, their families do not always have money to expose them to education resources such as the ones I am requesting. Despite all their differences, my students have a deep desire to go far in life and be life long learners
My Project
My students will use these materials in Math, Science and Reading/Writing. For each subject they have notebooks. In the notebooks they are constantly gluing evidence of learning into their notebook, using sticky notes to mark important items, and tabbing pages they want to come back to.
These items will make a difference by helping my students have the sticky notes, glue and tabs they need to have organized and useful notebooks for Math, Science and Reading/Writing.
