Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my 10th-grade math classroom, students learn best when they can interact with the material in meaningful, hands-on ways. That's why I use interactive notebooks-they allow students to glue in notes, foldables, and practice problems so they can stay organized and build a personalized learning tool they can reference all year long.
To support this, I'm requesting Elmer's glue to help students assemble their notebooks efficiently.
I'm also requesting dry-erase markers and pocket sleeves, which we use for daily practice and review. These allow students to show their thinking quickly, receive immediate feedback, and revise their work on the spot- all without wasting paper.
These tools make learning active, collaborative, and student-centered. With your support, my students will be better equipped to engage, reflect, and grow in their understanding of math.
