Help me give my students this string trimmer to grow coffee organically so our students can learn about our impact on our soil and environment.

My Project

Our students are in a program called Ulupono at our school. These 100 at-promise students don't do well in your normal classroom so we created a coffee orchard. We grow it organically, so there is no herbicide applied to help us with weed control.

This string trimmer will help us in two ways.

One, we are teaching them to leave the smallest footprint possible on the environment. Two, a longer-term goal is for them to learn that they can be self-sufficient and they don't need to buy everything.
