Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have a variety of students that are all working on getting different needs met. One of the most important things we work on is their physical well being. We often have students that are learning to walk and use stairs.

Getting our students prepared for the world by making sure all their needs are met is a top priority.

Also, this set of stairs doubles as a boat! Our students learn best through music and love the popular song "row, row, row your boat". They would love to act out the song by sitting in the boat. This helps them improve core strength and engage in parallel play by playing with the same material with a peer.
