My Project
Step Up to Writing is a writing curriculum that is tied directly to the science of reading and LETRS. Using this curriculum in the classroom will help students develop the skills to write with confidence. Step Up to Writing allows teachers the tools to present writing processes in a less abstract way. This is especially important for students with language and developmental limitations. I plan to use this curriculum daily to help my students to prepare for statewide standardized testing and college and career readiness. My goals for this curriculum is to help students to reach grade level profiency and confidence with writing skills.
