My Project
We are trying to make use of all our spaces in PreK for literacy, math, science and more! By providing new manipulatives, we can challenge our young students in these areas.
We are trying to make better use of our sensory table for some math and science to really explore our themes :) We also have a light table that we are trying to expand the use of for math activities, and translucent objects are so helping for patterns, sorting, and math functions.
We currently do not have a listening center in our room, but have a library space that we would like to integrate it into. The children will be able to listen to a story alone or with a friend.
We are trying to add water into our sensory table and for safety purposes, having a large rug under it will make a world of difference. With water, we can use our floating blocks, mix colors, do sink and float activities, and also work on building a pond and river.
PreK is always a busy, fast moving place and we like to keep the learning going. All the things that we can provide through Donors Choose helps us to bring in new ideas and build on the ideas from our students. Thank you for considering our classroom.
