Stepping It Up With Fitness Steps

Help me give my students fitness steps for lifelong movement exploration! They will be able to create challenges and participate in fitness based activities with the use of these steps.

My Project

Our students are always looking for more ways they can move and stay active besides just participating in team sports in Physical Education. By bringing in fitness steps we can showcase how fitness classes such as Body Pump, Step Class, Aerobics, Stretching, and much more can be used to increase heart rate and fitness. By incorporating steps into our wellness room it adds another opportunity to bring lifelong actives into their school experiences.

Our goal is to provide as many lifetime activities to our students as possible before they graduate from our district.

We would be able to offer fitness classes to students before and after school as well as introduce these activities into physical education. This would help us meet every student with where they are at, as well as ability levels.
