My Students
My students are creative, thoughtful, sweet, and full of energy! They love to participate in classroom discussion, activities that engage them in learning, sharing their ideas, and being challenged to think outside the box. Each day, my students come to school ready to learn new things and take chances to reach their full potential both personally and academically.
My students are not defined on where they come from but are defined on who they are and the places they are going to go.
Our school is a Title I school which means that more than 50% of the student population is on free or reduced lunch. Despite the odds, my students are resilient and love to learn. Although school year is going to look a little different, my students are going to continue to shine and grow in their learning!
My Project
Providing an exciting book that reaches my students in my classroom is one of the best ways I know as an educator to not only grow students' minds, but to instill a love of reading. Dr. Seuss once said, "The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you'll go." If fully funded, this novel will empower my students, challenge their thinking and help them grow as leaders as we use a classic novel. Thank you for helping us unlock the door to the world of imagination. Thank you for your support and providing my students new opportunities to learn every day!
