My Students

The students I teach are very hardworking kids who elect to sing in chorus. My students come from various backgrounds within widespread rural communities, but come together as one group to perform diverse music. We are so fortunate to have the opportunity to study and perform together! My students have personalities that make others feel comfortable and welcome not only in chorus, but throughout their school. Their kindness and leadership skills are always noticed by other teachers throughout the buikding. My hope is that music will be used to bring about positive change in our world, and my students can be the ones who help propel that positive change.

My Project

In order to achieve the best sound in our choir during rehearsal, it is important for all students to be singing at the same level...literally. Students will use the step stools to stand on during choir rehearsal so that they may be at the same height as the people around them. Some of the step stools will also be used for students who should be standing in the back of the choir, again to create the best sound, but need some extra height to see over the students in front of them. Help us take our choir to the next level!
