My Project
The Step Up to Writing program is a research based writing curriculum that allows students to experience writing success in a systematic way. This program provides writing instruction curriculum for teachers that allows students to have access to the skills they need to become proficient writers. I have a profound need for this curriculum as I have seen its success at the upper grade level. By using this curriculum in the classroom I will be able to provide learning for my students in the areas of writing, grammar and parts of speech.
This is so much more important for my students as 50% of them are language learners and struggle in this area.
