Step Up First Grade STEM

My Project

The goal of this project is to provide my first grade students with a variety of hands on materials to use for various STEM learning opportunities.

Many students at our school struggle to understand the abstract concepts that are taught in many STEM lessons.

By providing hands on materials to practice coding, mathematics, and safe technology usage all of the learners my classroom will have an opportunity to grow confident with their STEM abilities.

The materials in this project will be used to teach students the basic skills needed to complete our first grade coding curriculum, support students in developing proficiency in the first grade common core mathematics standards, and provide students with comfortable headphones to wear when working with our classroom technology.
