My Project

**Project Description:**

Help our students take the stage with confidence!

For many, this is not only their first performance but also their first opportunity to take a dance class. We are a Title 1 school in San Francisco, facing severe budget cuts that threaten our already limited arts funding. Your donation will provide sneakers for our students’ first live hip hop showcase, helping them feel united and supported on stage.

Our students have been working for **16 weeks** with guest artists from the Heart with Lines Dance Program, learning foundational hip hop movements and having a dynamic piece set on them. This experience is building their technique, rhythm, and confidence while fostering teamwork and creativity.

Receiving these shoes will make a lasting impact—not only for this performance but for years to come. These sneakers will give students the proper footwear for future performances and hip hop units, ensuring they can continue developing their skills and confidence in dance.

Our students have poured their hearts into this—your support will ensure they step onto the stage feeling prepared and proud. Help us give them a moment they’ll never forget!
