This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an inclusion teacher, what I love most about my students is their resilience, unique perspectives, and the incredible joy they bring to our school community every day. Each child learns differently, and it’s my mission to create an environment where every student feels safe, valued, and empowered to succeed. Many of students face daily challenges with emotional regulation, focus, and transitions and these moments can make learning more difficult, even when they’re trying their hardest.

A sensory rainbow path with Pete the Cat Decals in our hallway would give students a structured, calming outlet to reset their minds and bodies.

This simple resource will help them return to the classroom more focused, less anxious, and ready to learn—without ever leaving the school environment.

By supporting this project, you’re not just funding a tool—you’re investing in inclusion, accessibility, and the success of students who need a little extra help to shine.
