My Students

Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world.. Nelson Mandela. I want my students to understand the world around them through hands-on science activities.

My students are fun, energetic first graders who learn at a Title One school in North Carolina.

My students love hands-on and engaging activities and love to work in small groups. At our school, 98% of the students are on free or reduced lunch and for many of them, school is the one place that they get to have fun and engaging hands on experiences with learning.

My Project

The resources I am requesting will provide my students with hands-on engaging activities for science. Learning about life cycles and how plants grow is very important to understand. They are often hard concepts to understand. Therefore, these materials will turn the hard concepts into fun engaging hands-on learning experiences.

By helping fund this project, you will be helping my students have hands-on real life experiences, while learning science.

My students will be able to really see and experience the important concepts of life cycles and growing plants.
