Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The G STEAM Group (GSG) promotes careers in science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM). GSG wants to inform the school community on the impact it has in STEAM learning, using the group’s student news publication and professional grade technology.

Our mission is: With integrity, G STEAM Group is devoted to increasing awareness and promoting academic excellence in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

It is our goal to report on scientific attitudes, innovation, and science-based opportunities, while being accurate, thorough, and an interesting source of school news.

My Project

STEM News is dedicated to making their local community a little more STEM informed one step, or should we say one video at a time. Students will work during and after school using STEM projects as video footage for their STEMulating HD videos. Using their Apple Mac Mini, students will be able to edit the video footage they collect throughout their STEM initiatives to create videos illustrating STEM happenings around their school's community. STEM News will share their high quality videos on their school's website.

Your donation to STEM News will greatly improve the options students have to raise awareness in STEM education and professional development.

Our students will have the opportunity to design high quality educational videos while also using the latest multimedia technologies. The exposure to video editing technology will help them in career preparation. Through your donations our STEM News members will have more opportunity for community outreach.
