Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I know children learn best through play and using hands-on materials. I am requesting multiple STEM toys like K'NEX and wooden building blocks as well as playdough to support my students' creativity and collaboration. I will use the voice amplifier to make sure STEM activities run smoothly and so all children hear instructions when using these materials. This tool will also help me deliver loud and clear math and science lessons to students. I will use cardstock paper to print STEM activities and colorful labels for our STEM bins. These labels will help students identify each bin when starting STEM activities as well as help them clean up more efficiently.
