This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I absolutely love how curious, creative, and energetic my 4th grade students are. Every day, they enter our math and science classroom eager to ask big questions, tackle hands-on challenges, and explore new ideas. They’re not just students — they’re future engineers, scientists, problem solvers, and leaders.

To keep up with their enthusiasm and creativity, we need a classroom space that’s colorful, organized, and stocked with tools to help them thrive.

The Crayola Markers Classpack and colored masking tape will allow students to bring their math and science projects to life with bold colors and inventive designs. Whether they're charting graphs, labeling science experiments, or creating classroom displays, these tools make learning visually engaging and fun.

The Giantex 15-Drawer Rolling Storage Cart, classroom mailbox, and cubby bins will help us stay organized, keeping supplies and student work easy to access. This means less time searching for materials and more time learning.

Basic classroom essentials like pencils, scissors, Expo markers, and dry erase wipes are always in high demand. These items will help my students actively participate in math lessons, solve problems on whiteboards, and create interactive science models. The answer buzzers will bring a little friendly competition and excitement to our math review games and science quizzes, making learning lively and memorable.

To support our students academically, math and science workbooks and flashcards will provide targeted practice and enrichment opportunities, helping students master essential skills in fun, engaging ways. And to ensure my students stay fueled and focused, having a supply of snacks on hand is incredibly important — a small snack can make a big difference in helping a student stay engaged and ready to learn.

With these resources, our classroom will be a colorful, organized, and dynamic environment where students feel supported, challenged, and inspired every single day.
