Help me give my students STEM materials to engage them in hands-on science, technology, engineering and math activities each day! They love to plan, create, build and work together each day!
I am so lucky to have 19 amazing kindergarten students in my class! They are energetic, curious and eager to learn everyday. My students love to learn through exploring, building and playing together.
They are very curious about how and why things work, which inspires me to try and give them as many hands-on opportunities as I can!
They have a variety of interests and are working at different ability levels. By working together through reading, writing, building and creating, we can learn from each other and grow together as learners!
My Project
My students do not currently have STEM materials to use in our classroom for building, engineering, exploring and creating. If our project is funded, they can use the Legos and magnetic tiles to build a variety of structures and vehicles. They can use the wooden blocks to design buildings, bridges, ramps, roads and so much more. The OSMO kit for our classroom iPad will allow them to use technology to practice math, reading, spelling, art and engineering skills.
STEM materials will provide unlimited opportunities for engagement and learning in our classroom!
These materials will also help with fine motor development, social skills, problem solving and creative thinking, which are all critical skills for young learners!
