Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students come to me with a wide array of academic abilities, background knowledge, and experiences that make each child unique. My students are eager to learn and do their best. They need to continue to be open-minded thinkers as they learn to collaborate and develop into life-long learners.
Students enjoy activities that challenge their minds beyond the classroom curriculum.
STEM education will give my students opportunities to expand upon their interests in science and math. Activities are needed that encompass a whole range of experiences and skills. The magna tiles will give students a chance to highlight and learn engineering skills. Each STEM component brings a valuable contribution to a well-rounded education. Science gives learners an in-depth understanding of the world around us. By using the magna tiles, I will be able to provide stimulating, rigorous lessons that fit the interests and needs of my students.
