My Students
I have an amazing group of 3rd-grade students that come every day eager to learn! They are creative, funny, inventive, smart, and oh so patient with what the world has thrown their way these last couple of years. Even though they are faced with very unique challenges in and out of school, they come with happy and joyful attitudes. They love school and they love being able to come to school and learn. My students are individuals and I try to individualize my instruction to them as often as possible. Having materials and learning aids help me do just that.
My Project
My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education. To spark an interest in STEM, I am requesting a couple of Sphero minis. Sphero minis will help them to learn and become familiar with coding programing. With a student iPad in the classroom, they will be able to manipulate the Sphero robots. They will also be using the iPad for creating individual and group projects. We will also use for small groups and individual intervention with the OSMO software. The other items like paints, pencils, and scissors are regularly used supplies we are just running out of or are wearing out.
