My Project
My students are hands-on learners who thrive on creative challenges. While some struggle with traditional lessons, they excel when building and creating. Their collaborative nature and mixed ability levels create an ideal environment for LEGO-based learning, where peer teaching naturally occurs and every student can contribute meaningfully to projects.
The LEGO sets will serve as powerful hands-on learning tools that address multiple developmental areas simultaneously.
Through structured building activities and open-ended exploration, students will strengthen their:
-Engineering foundations by learning about stability, balance, and basic physics concepts through hands-on experimentation
-Mathematical thinking as they count, sort, and calculate pieces needed for projects
-Fine motor development through precise manipulation of different sized bricks
-Problem-solving abilities by working through building challenges
-Communication skills by explaining their design choices and collaborating with peers
