This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Goal: Classroom STEM Club…..Little ones love to create! And what’s a better way to build fine motor skills using materials to do this. My students are very excited about starting their first and very own Classroom S.T.E.M. Club! We are in need of building sets that allow creativity and collaboration for young minds. By funding this project, our classroom will have STEM building materials for the first time, which is so very exciting! This will bring STEM into our classroom on a daily basis. Our “club” will have a new theme each week that the students will name themselves. They will be able to create and name their own structures for the theme they choose. Working together in small groups to build, learn and communicate, our classroom community will STEAM with STEM!

We are very eager to begin a new journey in our learning.
