Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

The items that I am requesting such as headphones will allow my scholars to have opportunities to explore STEM activities. My school used to have a STEM specials/electives The scholars loved having STEM experiences at their finger tips. Some of the STEM activities such as Force and Motion we had to create from scratch, but the time in our schedule limited my scholars from producing a quality activity. Receiving the Force and Motion activity set will benefit my scholars.

Our school had to use the STEM space to add an ELA and Math enrichment class to support our scholars.

We no longer have a STEM class. I would like to add STEM back in our scholars daily lives.

My goal is for the students to have a variety of STEM materials in the classroom. We can intentionally incorporate STEM in ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies daily. STEM is all around us and our scholars need to be exposed to STEM more often.

I believe all my students are special because they come to school eager to learn with a positive attitudes.
