My students are 21st-century learners who are constantly seeking knowledge. They are always looking for ways to develop critical thinking, collaboration, problem solving, and personal responsibility in fun and engaging ways.
My students need STEM based books and resources to create engaging learning experiences.
These tools will be used to challenge their creative thinking in the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math.
My Project
My students are inquisitive 21st century learners. They are looking for new and exciting ways to explore and learn. The supplies from this project will help provide my students with STEM based learning extensions and opportunities.
The books I am requesting will be used to spark an interest in a STEM career field which includes the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math.
Teachers will use the requested books to facilitate a special learning experience every month that explores STEM based career choices. Rosie Revere Engineer, Ada Twist Scientist, Iggy Peck Architect, Inventor Ninja, If I Built a School, Be a Maker, The Story of Inventions, Miranda's Big Idea, and Marvelous Mattie are examples of the different career related books that students will get to explore. The learning opportunities are limitless as students can create and design their own challenges based on the new ideas they are inspired to explore.
