Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials in our project, " STEM Toys in PreK" will add many fun and engaging science, engineering and math activities to our classroom centers. Many of these materials will also be used during our outdoor play time in our brand new school yard. The counting bears, apples and bugs will allow students to count and sort while working outside.

"You can teach a student a lesson for a day, but if you teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives."

The magnetic blocks will allow students to engineer creative designs and help them learn their colors while working in our Discovery Center. The STEM sensory bin will help students create and count while working in our calm corner of our classroom.

Finally, the bubble materials will be used out in our school yard to explore light and colors while having lots of fun. Thank you again for your continued support of our class STEM project !
