My Students

Our classroom is a busy and exciting learning environment. We work together on learning mathematics skills embedded into workstations with meaningful and engaging activities.

Third grade is a crucial period in students' learning as they become more independent and mature learners.

We also work on science domains to learn facts and vocabulary, to develop the ability to ask scientific questions, plan experiments to answer these questions, and develop reasonable explanations based on their observations.

My Project

Students are used to working with paper and pencil. I want to give them the opportunity to build with their hands. We know that from a young age, kids should be working with hands on materials for a deeper level of learning. We also know that children learn best when they discover rather than are told.

The Wooden Unit Block set will teach students the basics of engineering and the best way to have a sound structure while showcasing their creativity!

Students will have the opportunity to learn through discovering - which is the most effective way for a child to learn!
