Help me give my students an opportunity to use Scholastic's Science World to continue to collaborate and communicate while they are working on online lessons. This magazine is loaded with science, technology, engineering, and math.

My Students
My students have a love for discovery, problem-solving, and collaborating with others. This will be a harder year for them as we work around remaining 6 feet apart, and online lessons in order to still solve problems using a project based approach. I have seen students light up when they learn about coding, come up with a way to create a dome city that is self-sustaining, and hear a team member's idea. I would like to continue that collaboration and communication through our blended learning by providing ways for students to interact when they are at home.
My Project
During blended learning, I will have my STEM students for 2 days a week and we will be able to build projects, collaborate, and communicate with our teams. When students are at home, I would like them to continue with the collaboration and communication by supplying each of them with a Science World magazine. Student lessons will be designed to allow the at-home teams to choose from articles, reflect on the articles, create a shared document to submit their thoughts, questions, solutions, and discussions.
The teams will be able to evaluate the article for possible problems and come up with their own solution.
The digital aspect of the magazine will allow them the opportunity to learn how to navigate websites, cite their sources, use images in their online projects, and see related videos for some of the articles.
