My Project
My students are curious future leaders who deserve reading material to help supplement the people and events we learn about in class. When my students learn about people like Katherine Johnson or William Kamkwamba they are inspired and reflective of the world we live in. The leaders in the books that I'm requesting can help expose students to both the power of motivation and the reality of the challenges that faced these inspirational men and women. These book titles will help me to take our learning further and build out my classroom library with books that reflect and motivate my students. Reading is the most important skill a student can master, so even in Science classrooms like mine, it's important to have a library full of books, both STEM themed and otherwise that will allow students to find books that they WANT to get into and share.
