Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school serves a large urban area and has a high percentage of students from low-income homes. Our student body is culturally diverse and provides our school community an opportunity to experience languages and customs from many cultures as we interact every day. Our music room needs a few items to help us organize some of our vital STEM equipment. The key hooks, coat hooks, and light hooks that we are requesting will be a great help in the classroom. We need help organizing a large combination of STEM technology related cords and cables. We are a high tech music classroom with endless AV connections that we utilize throughout our school day. We use electronic ukuleles, keyboards, Chromebooks, headphones, amplifiers, and other various technology connections daily. The organization hooks will be a great help in our classroom. Having access to these necessary tools at a moments notice keeps our learning headed in the right direction.

Many of my students do not have access to these kinds of music activities outside of the school setting.

These resources will be a great help in our music room.
