Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our school serves a large urban area and has a high percentage of students from low-income homes. Our student body is culturally diverse and provides our school community an opportunity to experience languages and customs from many cultures as we interact every day.

Our music room needs a light technology upgrade to get students excited and inspired to participate in creative music experiences.

I need to use every trick in the book as my students learn various music theory skills and sing all kinds of music. The disco lights, wall lights, and extension cords will be a great addition to our class. The LED lights are sound activated with multiple settings that students can select to meet their mood and expression needs. They will love selecting the various light color and movement options.

Many of my students do not have access to these kinds of music activities outside of the school setting. These resources will be a great help in our music room.
