They are eager explorers wanting to know more about the world around them. They are at the age where everything is interesting, and they want to know more about everything. The main question they always ask is why? They are very playful and outgoing and love to come to school and hate for the weekend to come, because they will be away from their friends and teachers, their home away from home.
Our students live by the DRIVE (Determination, Respect, Integrity, Voice and Engagement) Values.
My Project
STEM stands for science, technology, engineering, and math. The STEM bundles and activities will expose my students to STEM and give them opportunities to explore STEM-related concepts at a developmentally-appropriate level. These activities will allow my students to experience a challenge at the same time as hands-on learning.
I hope that this early exposure will help my students gain a love for STEM and maybe even want to pursue a career in the STEM field.
I know that integrating STEM into our classroom will allow students to shine in all ways and bring everyday learning to life through play.
