My students are in need of a classroom environment that allows them to design, build, and store their projects, allowing them to engage in hands on activities and inquiry based exploration.
STEM helps to foster a passion for learning and as an educator that is the greatest gift I can give my students.
By providing students with storage space for their projects, materials for them to tinker, design, and redesign, it will allow students to expand their creativity and discover that there are many different ways to solve a problem.
My Project
My project focuses on supplying my students with STEM resources. STEM activities have a positive influence on student learning, so my goal is to reach children and help them love learning. The STEM supplies will help foster a passion for learning by allowing an opportunity to explore their creativity through these STEM tools.
The K'NEX and Erector building sets will allow students to design and build prototypes of their projects.
They can then use these prototypes to create their final projects. These construction sets plus safety glasses will allow students to experience, first hand, the engineering and design process. The shelf plastic ventilated storage unit will allow students to store projects while they design and redesign their projects.
