This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The S.T.E.M. bins in my classroom have created a newfound energy and desire to learn with my students. Unfortunately, our current storage system is lacking durability as well as functionality. With the new Hands2Mind Makerspace storage cart, I can house our S.T.E.M. Bin materials in a way that makes them easier for students to access.

When students can easily access materials, they are more likely to build, create, problem-solve, and use them.

Because the cart has 9 drawers, that also means more students will be able to choose an activity at the same time. The drawers are large enough that all the specific materials will fit, yet easy enough for students to transport to their work area.
